Double looped buckle
Description
English: An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle, dating to AD 1550-1650. One loop and the pin are missing. The remaining loops is D shaped and the  frame has a trapezoidal cross section. The centre bar is narrowed from the frame with a pointed knop at either end and has a trapezoidal cross section. The outer edge of the loop is knopped and decorated with a moulded sexfoil motif. The surfaces retain traces of a black coating. The rear is undecorated.
