Dragonesque brooch
Description
English: Cast copper alloy dragonesque brooch fragment, length 33mm, width 16mm, thickness 6mm, weight 6.89g. This is the main S-shape body of the brooch missing the head and tail of the beast, resulting in the loss of the pin. Moulded decorating consisting of a roundel in the centre flanked by curvilinear arms that terminate in a smaller roundel. Date 2nd century.
