English: Design for a painted porcelain plate, square format. Setting is a house interior with bed in niche, right background, and open door, left middleground. Figure of a husband, in doorway, arrives home from a trip and is greated by his wife and small dog. He points to a cradle, center foreground, that holds two babies. He exclaims to his wife, "you did not tell me about that."
