Verso: Vertically at bottom is an oblique view of a wall bordered by old Cypress trees, with the wall shown in the rear. In the opposite direction at the top is a canal with boats in the foreground at right and a crowded square at left; the quai extends toward the right rear where a church and other houses are visible.
