Description |
English: Dutch Folly, a fort in the Tigris, near Canton Dutch Folly Fort was an oval fort built by Dutchmen on a sand bar in the Canton River. It lay about 800 metres to the east of the foreign factories in Canton near an old temple that had been built as a memorial to Li Maoying, a distinguished mandarin of the Song Dynasty (960-1279). |
