Transcript InfoField | The Eagle's Nest is situated on the shores of that part of the Upper Lake known as the Long Range. Here the lake narrows until it reaches the old Weird Bridge, when it joins with the Middle Lake. The Eagle's Nest is a conical-shaped mountains, 1,100 feet high with a base covered with evergreens, and a rugged precipitous summit, whereon eagles once built their nests. There is a famous echo at this point. |
