Early-medieval single-loop buckle frame
Description
English: A copper-alloy frame from a single-loop buckle. Short, plain frames are a feature of buckles of the early-medieval period (c. 7th to early 8th century AD).

The frame is sub-rectangular, with rounded ends. The sides are of sub-circular section, increasing in diameter at the vertical outer side. The wire pin is looped around the axis bar and the point is missing.

The buckle measures 9mm long, 16.4mm wide and 4.5mm thick. The weight is 1g.
