Title
Early-medieval single loop buckle
Description
English: An incomplete single-looped cast copper-alloy buckle of probable early-medieval date, incomplete in as much as it is missing its pin. The buckle is D-shaped, with a narrowed pin bar and a broadly trapezoidal cross-section. The artefact is seemingly plain; there is a possible depression to act as a pin rest and a similar depression on the narrowed pin bar. The reverse of the loop is flat with a concave recess running along its length. It now has a variable mid-grey colour.

The buckle is 11.55mm in length, 19.6mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 1.35grams
