Early Medieval Coin: Sceat
Description
English: A slightly worn silver early medieval 'Primary Phase' sceat, Series C2 (c.700-10).

The obverse depicts a pelleted standard with 'TOTII' legend, with crosses to the sides and 'T's at the corners; the reverse depicts a radiate bust with pelleted pyramidal neck on straight exergual lines (either side of a beaded line) and the runic letters aepa (roughly 'FGF') in front of the bust.
