Early Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch
Description
English: Incomplete silvered copper alloy Hod Hill brooch. The brooch is missing its headplate, pin and side-knops. The incomplete main body of the brooch is rectangular, slightly concave and decorated with vertical ribbing. There is a small fluted collar beneath from which extends a triangular flat foot. The foot is instepped from the collar and main body. There is a catchplate on the reverse of the foot.
