Description |
English: Cast copper-alloy D-shaped buckle with integral plate. The outer edge of the frame has a moulded zoomorphic head with small rounded knops on either side of the strap bar and behind the head, perhaps to represent legs. The sub-rectangular plate has a rounded knop on either side close to the buckle frame and larger rounder knops on either side on the opposite end. Corroded traces of the iron pin and and the remains of an iron rivet through the centre of the plate. . |
