The ground flooris used for the installation of the cable terminal boxes,groimding switches, and potential transformers. Thesecond floor is used for the oil-switch cells and currenttransformers, and the third floor for busbar chambers. The operating gallery is also provided for on the sec-ond floor, and the 20,0b0-volt oil switches, 1500-volt d.c.switch gear and the 2200-volt signal supply switching arecontrolled from this point. The 15,000-volt d.c. positivebusbar and switch gear is located underneath the operatinggallery, and the negative and equalizer busbars are placedin the basement below the rotary converters.
