SINGLE MAY^FLOWERING OR COTTAGE GARDEN TULIPS. THE May-Flowering Tulips are usually in full bloom about Memorial Day and generally last well into June. Not onlv do theyprolong the Tulip season but in grandeur of form and richness of their colors surpass most of the earlier classes. They aresplendid subjects for natural plantations, for clumps in herbaceous perennial borders as well as for formal beds. For cutting theyare even better than the early tulips—the flowers being stronger and lasting longer. Bouton dOr. Ida.
