Notes: Title, date, and keywords based on information provided by the photographer.; Gift; The Lyda Hill Foundation; 2014; (DLC/PP-2014:054).; Shelton's wife, Annie Young Shelton, is the managing partner of the nearby, historic RO (pronounced "Rowe") ranch. It is named for the cattle brand of its founder, Sir Alfred Rowe, an Englishman who began buying cattle and land û eventually more than 100,000 acres, near the junction of Salt Fork and Glenwood Creek in Donley County. Rowe died when the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic in 1912. In 1917, the ranch was sold to Rowe's top hand, William J.
