English: Copper alloy


Finger Ring. Cast constricted shoulder ring with a raised oval setting, now empty. The band tapers slightly, and it is uncertain whether it formed an unbroken hoop or had two ends to permit adjustment. Slightly distorted. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-200.


Internal Diameter (estimated): 14mm, Height (at setting): 5.0mm, Width (band): 4.2mm, Thickness (band): 1.5mm, Weight: 1.34gms.
