Begonia Rubra Rex Begonias. REX BEGONIAS. This class of Begonias are grown exclusively for the great beauty of their foliage, which is very large and beautifully variegated a pecu- liar silvery metallic gloss. They are used for plants or wardian cases. They drfelike our dry, bright sunshine and thrive best in a rather shady, warm and moist situation. We grow several of the most beauti- ful and desirable Rex Begonias in cultivation. Price, all varieties, 15 cents each; four distinct varieties for 50 cents. New Begonia, VERNON. This elegant new variety is of nn- usual merit as a bedding sort .flower- ing fully as free when planted out as when grown as a pot plant. It be- gins flowering when first planted and continues throughout the whola seasan until stopped by frost. Foli- age rich, glossy green, often shaded deep bronze. Flowers at first opt.n- ing are a deep red, changing to a beautiful clear rose in the fully open flower. It thrivbs everywhere aad is destined to become one of the most popular of bedding plants. Price, 10c each. Tbe Most Satisfactorj of All Wiater Flow erlag Begonias, BEGONIA RUBRA. If you only have one Begonia let it be a Rubra, for it will prove a constant delight. It is so fast growing that it will in a year or two reach the top of your window, sending up heavy, stiff canea an inch in diameter, and rising beside them will gro iv strong, slender branches, gracefully drooping under heavy waxen leaves and pen- dent panicles of coral- colored flowers as large as a hand. "We have seen a medium - sized plant with more than twenty such panicles at a time. Among the in- dividual flowers you will find three distinct forms growing side by side. One of the most wonderful plants with- in our knowledge. Price, smalisize, lOcentseach; large size, 20c each.
