The event raised toys for the annual Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop scheduled for Dec. 5-7. Over 150 service members dressed in holiday and fitness attire, donated toys and competed in the 5K race around the Pope Field flight line to help kickoff this year’s U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command’s (Airborne) annual Operation Toy Drop. Over its 17-year span, Operation Toy Drop has collected and distributed thousands of toys for children in the Sandhills, N.C., area. (U.S. Air Force photo/Marvin Krause) |
