Description
English: Ornamental figure of St. George standing on the slain dragon. Made of coarse linen, painted and enriched with metal in thread and strips. At the bottom, the initials S.G. and the date, 1749 (?). Now backed with red damask and finished at edges indicating cut from earlier work, probably 17th century.
