Fragment from a medieval single-looped buckle
Description
English: Frame of a medieval copper-alloy buckle of mid 13th to late 14th century AD date. The loop is D-shaped and is of sub-circular section, having a slightly bevelled inner face. The bar is narrowed and offset. The pin is missing. The object measures 17.6mm long by 14.9mm wide, and up to 2.8mm thick at the centre of the outer edge. It weighs 2.05g.
