English: Rectangular, lid curved, featuring red, white and blue enameled decoration, gold oval framed portraits of Britain's King Edward VII on left and France's President Armand Fallières on right, the French and British flags above them, their names inscribed on flowing banners beneath, inscribed below "Souvenir, Franco-British Exhibition, 1908." Reverse features advertisement, inscribed "Muratti's Ariston Cigarettes, Smoked All Over The World." Side panel inscribed "B. Muratti Sons & Co. Ltd." Opposite side panel inscribed "Manchester, London, Berlin, & Co. Ltd." Lid hinged on upper left. Striker on bottom. |
