| Description |
English: "Galera de Dávila" crossing Los Perros stream near Dolores, Buenos Aires Province. This carriage had been acquired by Serafín Dávila to entrepeneur Juan Leite in 1897. Dávila's float included 400 horses.
His carriages run over roads in the south of Buenos Aires, most frecquently the path from Dolores to General Lavalle. Because of the high number of streams and swamps, the region was a floodable zone and horsemen's skills were necessary to carry passengers to their destination places. |
