until themould is covered entirely. Then remove themould, and twist the wire ends firmly togetherat the point. Make two of these petals. Then,with a mould only two inches wide, make inprecisely the same manner three yellow leaves,one dark and two light, which, before removingthe mould, should be veined, by threading aneedle with violet wool, and making threelines from the point to about the centre of thepetal, diverging with the shape of the petal. Take a piece of wire, about eighteen incheslong, double it, making a loop in the middle,and cover this loop with green zephyr, to formthe heart of the flower. Sew the two violet petals to this heart, in theshape shown in the engraving; then on eachside fasten the two light yellow petals, andfinally, in the centre of the base of the circleput the dark yellow petal. Bend the outeredge of the three last leaves slightly inwards,to shade them. Twist the two ends of wire firmly together,to form the stem, and cover them with greenzephyr. NECK-TIB.
