d bud. The cape was of white silk and blacklace, and the inside trimming was composed of the veil,roses, and illusion tabs. Another straw we admired for its simplicity andnovelty ; it had on the left side a bow composed of flatloops .of white ribbon, two inches in width, on whichwas placed a bouquet of violets, berries, and a largewhite narcissus. The cape was of white silk, but in thecentre were three rows of black lace, placed one abovethe other,,the lowest one falling about two inches belowthe cape ; and on the side of the cape was another bowof the white ribbon, the.same style but rather smallerthan the one on the bonnet. The inside was composedof loops of white ribbon and violets, on the left side wasa blonde tab, and on the other was black lace drawn andpassed from the inside of the bonnet to the outside, andso on, so that it formed the entire inside trimming forone side of the bonnet, and a very pretty outside trim-ming, also.
