Description
English: Covers Tiber Creek estuary in the area now occupied by the Mall. Shows proposed Washington D.C. street alignments. Pen-and-ink and brown wash. Originally drawn on 2 sheets. Watermark: J Whatman (with fleur-de-lis under crown). Oriented with north to the bottom. Stained, missing section at lower right corner, and mounted on cloth backing. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. Phillips. Washington, 943 Vault DCP
