English: Title: Grand, national, democratic banner - press onward - portraits from daguerreotype

Abstract: Print shows a presidential campaign banner featuring bust portraits of candidates "For President Franklin Pierce" and "For Vice President William R. King" in ovals with laurel wreaths beneath a bust portrait of George Washington encircled with stars, and at the top, an eagle and the phrase "In Union is Strength", at bottom is the phrase "The Union Now and Forever". Physical description: 1 print : lithograph, hand-colored ; 31 x 23 cm (image), 45.5 x 34.2 cm (sheet)

Notes: Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1852 by N. Currier, in the Clerk's office of the Distt. Court of the Southn. District of N.Y.; Title from item.; Publisher's stock number "585" printed in the lower margin, however the format of this image differs from that of the 1848 stock number "585" print.; Inscribed in ink at bottom: 263. Deposited in Clerk's Office So. Dist. N.Y. June 29, 1852.; lith. & pub. by N. Currier.
