Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützte katholische Sankt Marien Kirche in Hagen, Hochstraße 81. Hagens größte Kirche ist eine dreischiffige Hallenkirche im neogotischen Stil, nach Plänen des Düsseldorfer Architekten Caspar Clemens Pickel 1892 bis 1895 erbaut. Einweihung war am 26. September 1895. Nach erheblicher Beschädigung im Zweiten Weltkrieg erfolgte 1954 der Wiederaufbau, dem sich in den darauffolgenden Jahren umfangreiche Restaurierungsmaßnahmen anschlossen.
