English: The U.S. Army utility landing craft USAV Matamoros (LCU 2026) and the U. S. Army logistics support vessel General Frank S. Besson, Jr. (LSV 1) pull into port at the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NAVSTA GTMO). The.Matamoros and General Frank S. Besson are at NAVSTA GTMO to support transportation of vehicles and equipment from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43). The vehicles and equipment on board the Fort McHenry is being transported to the Windward Ferry Landing for an environmental wash down. The environmental wash down is.a requirement for all materials which have been used overseas prior to re-entry into the United States. The Fort McHenry, Matamoros and Frank.S.
