English: Halifax HarbourThree sheets. Engraved. Scale: ca. 1:30 000 (bar). Cartographic Note: North at 104 degrees. Variation shown 13 degrees 35' W. Scales in statute and nautical miles in 45B onwards. Additional Places: Nova Scotia. Contents Note: Sailing directions are included in the title, Views: there is an oval view of the lighthouse above the title and a coastal view of Chebucto Head extending across the foot of all three sheets, The chart shows the street-plan, dockyards and battery at Halifax. Plate changes: Imprint March 1st 1781. Trees added to shading. Many additional settlements shown. Other features: Printed on Bates paper. Border yellow, Halifax red; red/brown coastal convention. Watercolour view.
