English: The flatware collection is conspicuously lacking good examples of French and English classic silver flatware from the eighteenth century. These simple patterns, for which the decoration was meant to be a coat of arms, creat, or initials are now known as Fiddle pattern for the French and Hanoverian, and later Old English for the English.
