THE RAPPAHAN-NOCK. There are some curious circum-stances connected with the screwsteamer Ulpptluumock, alias theSctflli, of London, alias her Majes-tys steam-sloop Victor. The En-glish Admiralty, a short time ago,di-posed of her Majestys screw gun-vessel Victor, and, on being sold,she was permitted to undergo somerepairs under the superintendenceof the dock-yard officials. It was China trade, and she was o-ten-ibly was changed to the Sri/lfa, of Loo- idon. Several suspicious circum-stances, however, occurred, and thedock-yard officials made a report tothe Admiralty.
