Le Mespilus arhorea porte, selon moi, des fruitstrop petits et trop peu abondans pour quon cher-che, par une longue culture, à en améliorer le goûtet à en augmenter le volume. On ne doit donc leregarder que comme un arbre fort agréable pourlembellissement des jardins , à cause de ses fleursqui font un très-bel effet, et qui, des premières,annoncent le retour de la belle saison.
