HiRAM Jones he married Sarah E. Hayes, ofLebanon, Nov. 15, 1862. Of this union were born sixchildren: James Walter, JohnLeslie, Etta E., Anna M., LizzieM., and Wilber. His farm was purchased by hisgrandfather, Ebenezer Jones, July5, 1786, who resided on it untilhis death, April 29, 1841, andwas succeeded by his son Hiram,who carried it on until his death,Oct. 2, 1855, when he was suc-ceeded by the present owner, thesubject of this notice, who hasmade many improvements, andis a representative agriculturist.This old homestead contains somethree hundred acres of land.
