Far more curious are the laces made by the peasants ofDalecarlia, still retaining the patterns used in the rest ofEurope two hundred years since. Dalkcarlian Lace. unbleached thread, are from Orsa. This lace is neverAvashed, as it is considered an elegance to preserve thiscoffee-coloured tint.
