Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützter Sundernhof in Hohenlimburg, Sundernstraße 10–11 (Privatgelände). Der Vorgängerhof wurde schon 1223 in einer Urkunde des Kölner Erzbischofs als Rittergut „domus dicte Barme“ erwähnt (Barmer Feld und Barmer Teich in unmittelbarer Nähe). In Pachtbriefen der Limburger Grafen ab 1436 als „Hove tom Sundern“. Der Sundernhof, zu dem ein oder zwei Kornmühlen gehörten, war ab 1476 bei Abgabe der „dritten Garbe“ auf je 15 Jahre verpachtet. Bis in das 19. Jahrhundert sind am Gewässer des Guts auch Drahtrollen betrieben worden. Seit 1822 befindet sich die Hofanlage durch Einheirat in Privatbesitz der Familie Heermann gnt. Böckelühr.
