Photograph of Hopi basket weaver, Koch-ye-amp-se, at Mishongnovi (Mashongnavi), Arizona, ca.1897. She sits on a blanket on the ground leaning against a cracked adobe wall with a partially finished basket in her lap. Three complete baskets and another unfinished sit on the ground around her. She wears a dark long-dress with a cloth belt and a long-sleeved shirt under her dress. She has very long black hair. Photoprint reads: "Moki".
