Molded ovate medal-lions on either face are decorated in deep and brilliant blue withascending dragons in pursuit of the flaming jewel among firescrolls: in one, one of the dragons has grasped a claw of theother. Resonant porcelain with a milk-whiteglaze of mottled effect, painted in pure cobalt with a sweepingcomposition of a spotted stag under a gnarled pine tree, with adoe or fawn beyond him on the slope of a hill. Height. 14 inches. 261—Circular Tripod Blue and White Bowz (Kaf»g-h$i) Dense sonorous white porcelain in the form of ancient bronzebowls, on three rudimentary feet. Wide form with expandingsides, gently contracted to afford a short neck, with thick evertedlip and wide mouth. Painted in two shades of blue with a liberaluse of white reserve with motives from the Hundred Antiques.
