Description: On voit, à la figure 1, une expédition très-détaillée, d'un insecte qui s'attache aux Saumons & aux Truites; comme on en trouve, dans le corps de l'ouvrage, une ample description, je me contenterai de cette simpie indication pour éviter des répétitions. On voit, à la figure 2, fur le devant, un guideau A; & en B B, comment on les tend de basse mer, tout au bord de l'eau, en en réunissant 3, 4 ou 5 tout près les uns des autres: il est seulement ordonné de les tendre hors du lit c c de la rivière, pour ne point interrompre la navigation; & en D, est un grand réservoir, pour conserver le poisson. On voit, fig. 3, les différents barrillages dont on fait usage pour le commerce du Saumon. Les Négocians ont coutume de distinguer les fûts qui viennent de la Grande-Bretagne, par le nom des lieux où ils ont été préparés; comme Gonne de Berwick, d'Aberdeen, de Montross, & autres lieux de la côte où l'on fait des salaisons de Saumon. A B, sont de grandes gonnes de Berwick: C, demi-Gonne: D, quart de Gonne: F G, Tiers ou Tierçon: H I, demi-Tierçon: K, Tinette pour mettre les Saumons marinés.
