English: James Allred (right), Milton, Wisc., native and cofounder of Ruck for a Cure, gives a safety brief prior to the beginning of a 2.5 mile RFAC event May 4 in Nolanville, Texas. RFAC is a 3,000 mile trek across America in which Allred and his co-founder Wayne Whitbeck participate in an effort to raise $50,000 for cancer awareness and research to be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
