English: Spc. Guadalupe Shim, left, native of Dallas, and Spec. Brandon Carr, native of Kinston, N.C., right, both postal specialists for the 18th Human Resources Company, 82nd Special Troops Battalion, 82nd Sustainment Brigade, assist Spec. Randritz Hopper, center, native of Shelby, N.C., and medical logistics specialist for the 583rd Medical Logistics Company, 1st Medical Brigade with a package that he is sending back to the U.S. from Roberts International Airport, Monrovia, Liberia, on Dec. 22, 2014. The post office at Roberts International Airport is the first fully functional Army post office to open in Liberia, allowing Soldiers deployed to Liberia in support of Joint Forces Command – United Assistance to buy flat rate boxes, apply postage and send their own care packages back home to their family and friends in the states. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
