English: Jar (a) with lid (b). Footed round jar, the body cast in two parts. The joint covered by an encircling banding. Short, wide, straight neck. Two small horseshoe-shaped handles hinged at shoulder. Lid overhanging the neck, stepped up to onion-shaped finial. Topmost element of finial missing--decorated with concentric bands of triangles and rectangles. |
