Transcript InfoField | Jena, Johanniskirche. This beautiful Gothic building was begun in the thirteenth century and completed in the fifteenth. The altar and the passage behind it, the pulpit and the graves of the Princes here are all worth notice. So too, is an interesting piece of brasswork moulded in the likeness of Martin Luther which was originally cast for the cover of his tomb at Wittenberg. |
