English: Body Bearers with Marine Barracks Washington escort the body of Sen. John H. Glenn, Jr., into the Chapel on Fort Meyer, Va.
The U.S. astronaut, former Ohio Senator and U.S. Marine was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery not far from the Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Family, Friends and dignitaries followed the procession from the chapel to the gravesite where Marines rendered full military honors.
