English: (1 in a multiple picture set)

This shot was one that I struggled to put in the set because the cars make the scene look less than natural. However, the picture makes three points:
1. You see the vastness of the park and the size of the rock formations.
2. You will encounter only a half-dozen spots like this with a parking lot. Ninety percent of the park is open and you will have it to yourself.

3. In the background you will see a 'forest' of Joshua Trees. This is what sets the park apart from any other place in the world, i.e. the number of these rare trees it supports.
