356 ROYAL SOCIETY OF ANTIQUAKIES OF IRELAND. and occupied a circular space of about 7 feet in diameter, and in it werefound urns of burnt clay of rude design, and filled with burnt bones.The internal space was divided into smaller chambers, and some humanskulls were found separate from the other remains. The present occupier states that in his time a great quantity ofbones have been found, not only in the enclosure, but also in the fieldadjoining. The area enclosed was cultivated about twenty-five yearsago, Avhen bones were still found, and a polished stone celt, about4 inches long, was picked up, and is now to be seen at the farmhouse. Dkumbo Eound Towek, Co. Down. The remains of this tower are in the graveyard attached to thePresbyterian Church of Drumbo. The tower stands in the more ancientpart of the churchyard, and there are no traces of any other ancientecclesiastical remains near it at present, though some existed untilcomparatively recent times.
