English: Jumpmaster Command Sgt. Major Jeffrey A. Maddox, CSM for 503rd Military Police Battalion, 16th MP Brigade, here, conducts jumpmaster parachute inspection for Sgt. Nathan Gavel of Vero Beach, Fla., a military policeman assigned to 21st MP Company, 503rd MP BN, 16th MP BDE, Fort Bragg, N.C., prior to a foreign jump here Nov. 18. The U.S. soldiers participate in the second annual canned food drive jump to benefit 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Fayetteville, N.C. The German airborne operation allows U.S. soldiers to earn German wings. German Sgt. Maj. Ronny Hahnlein of Coburg, Bavaria, Germany, serving as German liason to XVIII Airborne Corps here. Hahnlein also serves as jumpmaster for the foreign wing jump for U.S. soldiers. For many soldiers, this was jump number six to eight, with the first five jumps being at the U. S. Army Airborne School, Fort Benning, Ga.
