Description
English: Kaiser-Wilhelm-Eiche (Emperor Wilhelm Oak) – a Quercus robur – in Lamsfeld, Schwielochsee, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Germany. The oak was plantet March 22 1887 in celebrating the 90th birthday of Wilhelm I of Germany.
Deutsch: Kaiser-Wilhelm-Eiche auf dem Dorfanger von Lamsfeld, Ortsteil der Gemeinde Schwielochsee, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Deutschland. Die Stieleiche (Quercus robur) wurde – laut Widmungstafel unter dem Baum – am 22. März 1887 gepflanzt. Dies geschah damals in vielen Orten des Deutschen Reiches anlässlich des 90. Geburtstages von Kaiser Wilhelm I.. Heute wird der prächtige Baum eher als Friedenseiche gesehen.
