U.S. Army Spc. Cindy Ortiz, a military working dog handler, and her partner, Sgt. Hundi, assigned to the 100th Military Working Dog Detachment out of Miesau Germany, currently assigned to Multinational Battle Group-East, prepare to conduct medical evacuation hoist training, July 23, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Ortiz and Hundi awaited their turn to be hoisted more than 75 feet into the air by a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, operated by F Company, 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, out of Clearwater, Fla., and also assigned to MNBG-E The training was held to familiarize the flight crews, military working dogs and handlers with air medical evacuation procedures.
