English: A lighter amphibious resupply cargo vehicle, or LARC, swims away from the USNS VADM K.R. Wheeler as it makes its way to shore on Dogu Beach near the South Korean port city of Pohang, April 6, 2017, in preparation of Operation Pacific Reach Exercise 2017. The LARC will be used to carry the Wheeler’s Beach Terminal Unit to shore where it will be linked to other pipelines and distribution systems setup on the beach for the combined joint logistics over the shore exercise. The exercise, also known as OPRex17, is a training event focused on enhancing joint and combined interoperability while bolstering U.S. alliance and partnerships in the region.
