Nobody, Sir; I have been tryingfor a month. Sir, every day. These LAME JEMMY. 17 are my first, and they are not verygood; but I hope I shall do betterby and by. ^^ No doubt you will, if you takepains, my boy, replied the clergy-man. ^^What do you ask apiecefor your baskets? O, Sir, said Jem, ^ I do notask any price: anything you please.Sir. So the clergyman said that hewould take five of them; and heput a halfcrowii into Jemmys hand.*^ There is sixpence apiece for them;and you must take them to thegreat house up the passage there,and ring at the bell, and ask for 18 LAME JEMMY.
