Late Early Medieval copper alloy buckle
Description
English: A cast copper alloy Anglo-Scandinavian buckle. The buckle is D-shaped in plan and has a chunky frame that is oval in cross-section and terminates with a moulded animal head on either side biting onto the pin bar. The facial features are extremely worn. The pin bar is narrowed.
